I like the lateral movement. I also think the slightly lower seated position would work well. The smaller profile would be great as well.

 

Down sides seem to be slow speed, inability to go over curbs, stairs, grass, etc. and the fact that it doesn't seem like anybody will be able to own or test one any time soon... Though I'd happily put my name on the list if there was one.
