Premium Members David M. Aronson Posted May 17, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 17, 2012 When all of the details are given(camera, power requirement, shot list, etc.) what gear comes with you on every shoot? I don't really have a reason for asking other than being curious. Edited for clarity

I don't really have a reason for asking other than being curious. Ithats a pretty open ended question. Depends on the job and situation. If you were to look at my cart and what I bring I'd say that's what I have to have. Just a thought, you could use te two year rule. If you havnt touched it in two years you don't need to bring it

Premium Members Michael Hauer Posted May 20, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 20, 2012 (edited) I just had a need for something i never thought I would: shop glasses. Was doing a music video with shots of sugar glass being broken over people's heads. I think its a worthwhile thing to have, especially when you have a completely useless ad who fails to inform the talent that during rehearsals we don't break things. Was almost blinded yesterday.... That should be part of your personal kit. Safety glasses, hearing protection (Electronic ears are the best) hats, gloves etc etc In addition to those and my handheld pad, I also bring waders and a wetsuit (I do a show that takes place in miami and on the water)
