Premium Members chris bangma Posted September 5, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted September 5, 2012 There are 3 mounting holes on each side, which allow you to shift the weight for and aft. Pictures will be coming soon. I cant remember if we put a voltage sense in or not. I will have to check the schematic and see. We can supply with an AB mount, weight back, or v lock. The bracket you have obviously nicely balances in the middle of the monitor. Would it be possible to make an offset bracket so one could rotate the monitor with a battery on the back and the CG is central? Is there a voltmeter in there? I love my transvideo voltage readout. As I get to know the setup I can tell that batteries are going down just by glancing at the volts.

Eric...is that you :) I am betting that an hc-90 will power the monitor all day long. So after your breakfast burrito put a freshy up or look at the meter on the battery and ponyboy is gold for quite a while.
Premium Members Thomas English Posted September 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 5, 2012 I got 2 or 3 batteries powering the general power on my MK-V and I can tell if one of those batteries is dying by the voltmeter and how quickly its dropping when focus is pulled etc. Basically I can tell when something is up and know to check my batteries. On the Gen 2 though I do see myself just putting a battery on the back of it. Do you get Burritos for breakfast?

Premium Members Thomas English Posted September 12, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 I am very excited about this monitor. At what stage in the process do we specify if we want a V-Lock or AB mount on the back?

Premium Members Michael Hauer Posted September 13, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 Any decision yet on what connector you are using for tally?
Premium Members Rich Cottrell Posted September 28, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 i asked Chris about the tally. Here is what he said: "We could wire the tally to run through the 8 pin lemo, if you have tally lines run in your sled. Or we could also run through a 3pin lemo, which seems to be the standard for MK-V and XCS."
Premium Members JamieSilverstein Posted October 4, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 I was talking to Alec earlier, actually worked tandem steadicam job this past several days with Alec and he was touting the upgrade. Peaked my interest. Am I too late for the pre-order?
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted October 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 5, 2012 A 3 pin lemo ( XCS), or seperate connector of any kind for the Tally would be ideal. In my case anyway instead of in the 8 pin Lemo. Ozzie Looking very sharp Chris, very sharp indeed.
Premium Members Benjamin Treplin Posted October 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 5, 2012 Mmmh, my XCS does not have a 3 pin connector for Tally etc. According to the manual, available on Greg's website, it's not a standard.
