Premium Members Tom Wills Posted January 15, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 15, 2013 This is a cheap little composite LCD. Not the prettiest picture (it wasn't even a very expensive monitor brand new), but it works, and its fine to hand off to someone else. I modded it to take a composite input via an RCA plug right on the monitor, instead of via a proprietary cable (which the previous owner had lost). It's worked well as a directors monitor on a few shoots, but I'm trying to move to an all-HD setup now. Comes with the fabric pouch you see in the pictures, the ball head mount (which can go on either a 1/4" thread or a hot shoe), and if you need a power adaptor or any other power cable I have the parts to make, I'll throw that in free too. Best offer takes it. Want it gone in a week or so.

Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted January 17, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 How do you power it? And did you place that RCA where an Antenna went before, on top of the Monitor? This may work as a top of camera prompter. Thinking...Thinking..... Premium Members Tom Wills Posted January 17, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 Osvaldo, Yeah, I put the RCA there. No antenna or tuner on this model, so there was just a black plug where the antenna would go. Used RCA because it wasn't big enough to fit a BNC into. Power is via a standard 2.1mm consumer DC power jack on the side. I've got a ton of those cables lying around. Might work well as a camera top prompter. Weighs almost nothing - according to Ikan, weighs just over 1 pound.
