This is a infrafed laser rangefinder system, ser # 013, Purchased from James Takata in 2011. this is an excellEnt rangefinder system that reads accurately to over 300 ', It is a smaller sense area, more like a spot meter of a few degrees, more selective than a cinetape . It also will shoot through clear glass and read the object on the other side of the glass. For aiming it has a visible laser sight that you toggle on and off. All lasers are eye safe!
