Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted April 20, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 20, 2013 Chris, Hi, So when I purchase a Gen 2 with yoke, can I later on purchase the level box and it will be able to connect to my gen 2. or do I need to KNOW I'm getting a level at the time of purchase of the gen 2?. Just thinking cost issues when first buying a new monitor later in the year. Thanks, Ozzie

Premium Members chris bangma Posted April 20, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 20, 2013 Is it possible to "loop" the Betz level through the monitor..? ( like with Transvideo ) The Betz level would not work with our monitor, since the output signal is analog, and out level is fully digital.

Premium Members Afton Grant Posted April 25, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 25, 2013 Pictures of where the level can be mounted on the PRO. I presume you made the passthrough mounting holes the XCS standard so that we may mount the level in the same place as we have our XCS levels. Is there any reason this wouldn't fit in that same place - on the side of the sled? Do you know how it compares in terms of thickness? Premium Members chris bangma Posted April 26, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 The mounting holes are the same as xcs, and pass through. It might be 1/4" thicker.
Premium Members SergeiFranklin Posted April 26, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 This is how I mount the XCS level. The way the holes are this will not work with your level. Since there are no buttons maybe it can attach on the inside behind the front battery. Does the angle or orientation mater?
Premium Members Afton Grant Posted April 26, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 Why wouldn't it work, Sergei? It sounds like it would simply stick out 1/4" farther. Chris, any possibility we could see a pic of the level mounted where the XCS is typically mounted? Thanks!
