Premium Members Tom Wills Posted April 24, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 24, 2013 So here's a little gadget that I wanted one of for me, and somehow ended up with around 20 of. (Long story - something about a laser cutter and a friend who owed me a favor) It's a super light little 1/8" delrin plate with the appropriate screws and washers on it to snap onto any Anton Bauer battery mount. It also has on it 9 1/4"x20 tapped holes, both in 9mm Red spacing, as well as 1" center to center spacing. All in all, it's a perfect way to hold lightweight accessories on your rig without the hassle and possible vibration of Velcro. I personally use it to clip my Decimator to the back of my monitor, but it'd be great for a recorder, transmitter, or any number of other cool little gadgets. $45 plus shipping. Email me if you're interested. willsvideo@gmail.com Just a little note, in the pictures, some of the holes are countersunk. All of the plates, however, are tapped on all 9 holes.

Premium Members Tom Wills Posted May 8, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted May 8, 2013 I'm working to see if there are any ways to make the assembly of these less labor-intensive. If I can figure something out, I'll be doing another run. Watch this space!
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted June 8, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted June 8, 2013 I've made another batch of these plates, since people have been so interested they've been handing me cash to take the ones out of my accessories kit! They now have genuine Anton Bauer studs on them, and they look and work even better than the first batch. Still hand-assembled in my basement workshop, and still dirt cheap at $50 each (a little more expensive to cover the Anton Bauer parts now). Here's a picture of my first prototype of the new batch. Email me if you want one (or two!). willsvideo@gmail.com By the way, if you owned one of the original plates and want the new gold mount studs, let me know, and I'll mail you off an envelope of them.
