Will Sampson
Hey I was wondering what the best place to take an older 3a arm in to get a tune up and how much to expect it to cost. Thank you!

Will Sampson
Thanks Libor! Would love to change my name, read the entire thread on that and still can not find a way to do it. All the links on how are dead and the explanations on how are apparently out of date because the buttons have changed. I was leaning towards Robert, is his number still xxx-621-476? And does anyone know how much, on average, an upgrade or general tune up on a 3A arm runs?
Premium Members Chris Loh Posted April 17, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 17, 2015 Give that number a ring tomorrow, but delete it from a public forum so he doesn't get a ton of spam calls. To my knowledge a Luna upgrade is 1000, which will increase the weight range, and I hear does wonders to the performance. (Can't speak from experience though, I love my 3A just how it is)
Premium Members Jarrett P. Morgan Posted April 17, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 17, 2015 I got my old EFP (same design as a 3A but different spring weights) refurbed by Robert Luna last summer. I think it came into the 1350~ range with some upgrades (delrin spacers as dust covers for the bearings and some other miscellaneous parts. Robert Luna is certainly the guy to do it. The arm came back looking brand new, and flew so much nicer. I didn't realize what I had been missing. Of course then I bought a pro arm and REALLY realized what I had been missing....
