Eric Paczkowski
I am interested in having my own wireless video transmitter and receiver. What is the best system to put on a steadicam so you can transmit the video feed wirelessly to a village so the director or director of photography can see your shot. Terakek? Paralinx? What is commonly used. Thanks! Eric
Isaac J. E. Garcia
Hey Eric, I have recently been using the paralinx arrow and normally it works like a charm! Sometimes it can have issues if village is hidden behind a wall. The transmission can get a little glitchy by big objects, but for the most part it has been a very reliable system. I hope this helps! Eric Paczkowski
Thanks Isaac and Louis for the input. Just looking for reliability without problems all the time. I see the Teredek Bolt used a lot, seems pretty good. Just want input from others so I can do my research and find what best works for me. Premium Members David M. Aronson Posted October 11, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Bolt is the old standby. Boxx Atom is also very good.

Stephen Reizes
Anyone have experience using or testing both Teradek Bolt 2000/3000 and Boxx Atom systems? Pros and Cons. Range, resistance to interference, image quality etc. Other options?
Premium Members brett.mayfield Posted May 26, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 26, 2019 ive owned the bolt 2000 and i was so happy to get rid of it. i have a buddy who owned the boxx atom and i used it several times and loved it. never seemed to drop signal, and the channel switching is super easy, just a button, not toggling. it would love on to a channel and work like a dream. performed very well on vehicle work. i was always breaking bolt antennae and i had the bnc connectors replaced multiple times, they got too hot, i dunno, i just never want to use them again.
