Paul P. Posted April 12, 2006 Report Share Posted April 12, 2006 Hi, I'm new to operating and am trying to set up a Glidecam v-20 with a Panisonic Varicam. I was wondering if anyone had 1. Tips for me on how to set it up right i.e. how much weight, configuration of the sled etc. and 2. Any pictures of your rig. (would really like to see another Varicam set up.) It shouldn't matter, though. If you gain an understanding of how the various components work, you don't need to see a setup, you just need to know HOW to set it up. If you're in LA, contact Alan Gordon Enterprises (http://alangordon.com/). Otherwise, contact Glidecam directly. They're very good about answering their phone.
