Marc,

I have a basic A&J case that I drop the soft case into. Drop a stinger and a hunk of coax on top to keep it from bouncing around. Been on more trips than I can count and never had a problem. Anvil or any other hard case would be just fine. When you get to town leave the hard case in hotel and you're good to go. If you are in L.A. Bexel sells used cases or you can check them out on line.

An Anvil case is a little of an overkill for that Camera. I would look into pelican or storm cases. You can buy them with pick and plug foam (as a emergency solution), with padded dividers or costume cut foam. They are way lighter then an ATA case and easier to carry like a suitcase.

You can find very good deals online. BTW: Charles Papert is a dealer for the Storm cases.

Hope that helps,

I own several Storm Cases and I love them.

Also try www.cases2go.com out of Lutz, FL. They may be closer to you and save you some money on shipping. I've bought all my cases from them and I've found that they have great turn around.

Also ,Always check to see if the case comes with foam an what type. The cube is easy to work with but will start to fall apart faster than a solid foam. To cut the solid foam I've used an old hacksaw blade and heated it up with a torch. It cuts like butter !

Good Luck
