Rod Weber Posted August 2, 2006 Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 Brett, Actually a Flyer is only built to handle about a 15 lb. camera (+ accessories) or less. Though I'm not selling, I own one, and it's great for Prosumer cams. I've got mine set-up with an HVX200, rail system, M2 35mm adapter, Follow Focus, Matte box, & transmitter and I come in under 15 lbs.... a lot of stuff. Similar to the one here: http://www.steadi-onfilms.com.au/steadicam_flyer.html If you're looking to buy used, there have been about 4 or 5 sold on ebay in the last 6 weeks or so. Depending on what battery system you're looking for, you might find a good deal there. If you're looking for something less expensive, I've got a Magiqcam 3p which is a lot like the Flyer (double-articulated arm, adjustable everything, low-mode), but it does not include monitor or battery. If you're interested, personal message me and I'll give you details & pics. I will be placing it on ebay next week. I have a complete rig steadicam CP 3A, the top of steadicam products: vest MK-V with new pads arm original 3A with gold spring ,perfect condition, perfect for heavy digital cameras or cinema cameras also much original sled cp 3a crt monitor, j-box 4 batteri 5 Amh in good conditions If you want I can to upgrade to v-LOOK battery mount Flycase for sled and flycase for vest,arm e accessories The electronics have been as soon as controlled and calibrated. There are still seals of guarantee on the covers. Also I have replaced the glass of the monitor that is new. I ask 20.000 euros If you want informations o photos, send a mail please.
