B) Monday Jan 29 to Friday Feb 02: This intensive theoretical and practical course will provide training to a high professional level in the use of steadicam operation for the use in feature film, documentary and television production. By the end of the workshop participants should be able to confidently assemble, balance and operate steadicam in various modes and configurations. Each day will consist of lectures, demonstrations and intensive practical exercises with various steadicam rigs . A certificate of completion will be issued to participants who have satisfactorily attended and completed the workshop. The ONLY Steadicam Workshop in the Southern Hemisphere Participants are advised to book early as there is only 15 places available. Accommodation is available for participants(and there Families) on campus and fee's include morning and afternoon teas and lunch. Conducted by three of Australia's leading steadicam operators Prerequisites: The steadicam workshop is aimed at people with some camera experience and steadicam operators wishing to upgrade their skills to remain current with new techniques and technology. Cheers, Martin Stacey Hi Martin I have a great team of operators and assistants how are also disapointed but like anything if you don't get enough students to pay for these people and equipment they won't go ahead. I have been running workshops down under with great success over the last 5 years but I would have to say with the down turn in the industry here would have to have a part in fewer students. Look if you need any other help just email at lpulicam@tpg.com.au. All the best and I will be running it (I hope ) next year.
