hello everybody

i own a small steadycam from glidecam inc. and wonder if anybody could tell me when it's the right time to change the springs ? i bought this tool in used condition therefore i don't know how long it was used before ...

are there any indications to find out if it's necessary or not ?

thanks

andy

When they break? :)

I think nobody changes springs unless something goes wrong, never before. And many times it is other components that break, like bearings and so.

But it might be possible that the lower end of stabilizers uses lower quality springs that show more "fatique".
