Premium Members Brant S. Fagan SOC Posted October 28, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 28, 2006 Gents-- Actually, some of the WRC-4 units worked remarkably well. Those systems either did not work at all or were actually solid and dependable. I bought one years ago for a good price and had incredible dependability from it. Sent it to Jim Bartell once for a service and never had another problem. Used the system for features and every thing else with out fail, even in Africa which is where it probably should have crapped out but trundled on. If the system still works, it is probably one of those units like mine. For the record, a Heden 26P, SLD, FMG-6, or M-One will function just fine with a WRC-4 system. Good luck. Best, Brant S. Fagan, SOC P.S. I still have mine, complete in the factory case if anyone is interested. Yes, at a killer price, too!
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted October 28, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 28, 2006 Actually, some of the WRC-4 units worked remarkably well. Those systems either did not work at all or were actually solid and dependable. I had one for a year or two. I would say that it was middle-of-the-road; it worked for the most part, but not solidly or dependly. Moved on to a Seitz, which was a lot better and then on to a Preston, 'nuff said. The Bartech is so affordable, to me it's not worth messing around with an older system.
Premium Members Andrew Jansen Posted November 2, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 I have a WRC 4 system that I haven't used in over 10 years in my basement. Make me an offer. I could even through in a CP motor that needs a service. Andrew
