Premium Members Gustavo Penna Posted May 28, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 What is so cool about that! are we all going to get more jobs? get our rates doubled? There is one thing for sure. all of us will be spending more thousands on it and renting it for nothing.

For features and Serie work you pretty much going to have to buy it since it will do the impossible shot

Yep, what will probably happen is even more Non-Camera operators will buy this magical device thinking that it's their "In" and will drive our rates down even further. Hopefully our rates won't go down that much. ;)
Patrick Neese
they, some of the guys who were already in the feild, were talking about that alien contraption a year ago at the workshop. Its pretty sweet stuff...I imagine its hellish to try and control the servos/steppers especially with 35 pounds out there... I'm looking forward to see his design. Good luck MK-V! Why would it be hellish? and what do you mean "with 35 pounds out there"?
Premium Members RobVanGelder Posted June 11, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 Unakron, would you mind telling us a bit more about you (your name for instance), your activities and what you have done in the field of Steadicam? That feels a bit more personal when we reply to what is now only an alias-name. It also can help us decide whether we need or should reply to your questions..... The reason I ask is that more and more forums are being "hacked" or at least visited by people that should not be there and clutter the forums with non-info etc. Reveiling your identity can give you more credit.
