I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience using these types of devices on a set. http://www.elgato.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/...roduct1.en.html I was thinking of get one and was wondering if anyone else has used it for our purposes with a modulus, canatrans or similar. It should do the basic job of an archos as well so I would have the nice big screen of my macbook to look back at takes on and also a copy of my work to easily add to my reel. The only downside I can think of would be having to take my laptop to jobs. Speaking of analogue receivers what are we all going to do once the digital switchover happens and cheep receivers aren't available at the local tandy? Hardly anyone on this side of the pond uses them as everyone seems to prefer 1.2 or 2.4 ghz devices so i suppose it won't make much diference over here, but I should think all you lot will be stocking up on cheep lcd tvs before they stop making them I am certainly thinking about getting a few they tend to be quite fragile and impossible to get fixed.
