looking for a hand held pad to slide onto bottom of Steadicam Top plate

I've been working on a repeated job recently where we are coming from steadicam to hand held a lot. Does anyone make a bracket that will slide a shoulder pad onto the bottom of a steadicam plate. Then I could just leave the motors etc in position and jump up off the dovetail and pop onto a hand held mode.

Would the shoulder pad system they sell at Film Tool work in the interim? I have one and it really saves my shoulder when I'm operating hand-held. The padding is variable and it is well made. I think it cost under $60
