Premium Members matthew pearce Posted August 23, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 23, 2008 The used pro 1 sled that I purhased came with a follow focus reciever bracket that I'm unfamiliar with. It looks like a piece attatches to the reciever allowing you to slide it off and on with some thumb screws to lock it down. Anyone know where I would purchase said piece and would it work with a Bartech. I'm off to Pro on monday but had time for some research this weekend. cheers

There is a small dovetail plate that slides into the slot you have that holds the bracket underneath. I have the BFD bracket minus the dovetail if you want it. I got it as part of a package when I bought a second BFD system but I don't have a PRO brand rig. The bracket is functional...maybe. The previous owner or someone down the line prior to me stripped out the holes with a power drill and well... it's ugly. I had to send the whole thing to Jim Bartell just to get the bracket off the BFD, then I gave the dovetail to Ramon Engle and the bracket is sitting on my shelf. I'm pretty sure parts of it are salvageable; at least the top part is clean but it's free and AS IS. Maybe Tom can sell you the other parts or he might say trash it. Send me an email or PM if you or anyone else wants it.
