Premium Members Dan Coplan Posted September 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 I'm in Sweden using a RED on a Mark V sled from a local rental house. Everything worked fine when I prepped the rig at the rental house with their RED camera, but now that I'm on set with our RED camera I'm having problems... Everything works fine including the Titan video transmitter that is taking video in from the output of the CinemonitorIII. There is an image on the Cinemonitor that's coming from the lens but I'm getting several diagonal blue lines as if the sync is off or something like that. I can't find any settings for NTSC or PAL on the monitor. RED HD-SDI is outputting to an AJA downconverter which goes into the sled and then out to the monitor and through the monitor to the transmitter which properly transmits to a Panasonic 17" LCD. I'm stumped. The rental house is stumped. Hoping somebody has a flash of brilliance for me. Thanks. Dan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Premium Members Sven Joukes Posted September 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 Hi Dan, You've probably tried all this yourself, but here goes: °have you put the signal from the AJA straight to the monitor (not through the post) see what that does? °have you put the AJA straight onto the Titan? °if you have a V2 D-Box, have you tried feeding the transmitter off the video out BNC plug? °are you using the BNC input on the Cine IIIa or the accessory input? My mistake was not selecting the proper format, PAL or NTSC, in the 'STANDARD' menu setting. This setting is in a list along with choice of screen color (color, green, or b&w) and I mistakenly assumed it was some sort of 'standard color' choice. Was wondering why I couldn't figure out where the PAL/NTSC option was and ended up wondering if the monitor was auto-sensing. Dan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
