They were specifically designed to compliment the varicam so are not 1080 monitors but the picures on them are superb. I will quiet happily light from one on the camera and leave video village with the 17. Saying that, it is rubbish for steadicam. It is nowhere near bright enough and can be reflection hell. I considered it for steadi use before buying but its just not up to it. Its a great cameramans monitor or for giving to a director who can actually hold things without dropping them, but thats about it. J Quote
