Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted December 7, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 uh, other than the lame off-axis viewing (all-important to Steadicam), sure! While they aren't great I have noticed some variance in them. Atleast one that I have used had usable off-axis viewing which was a pleasant surprise since we didn't have a down converter (don't get me started). Another one I looked at was much worse. ~Jess
Premium Members Rob Vuona SOC Posted December 9, 2008 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 9, 2008 Hey Guys,As you may or may not know us Live TV guys need a secondary monitor for return video. I fly a 3.5" just under my 7" and I am looking for two more and for some reason I am having a hard time finding them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is an example of what I am looking for For the record I found the one I was looking for under a different name and I ordered a back up one from Hong Kong that happens to be a rear view monitor for a car 3.5" Thanks for all the inputs
Jacques Delacoux
Rob, You are welcome if you want to try the Starlite Color. It is a 4" 1000Nits monitor and we have already several operators using it as a second monitor. The Starlite is built as all our products, aluminium machined housing, AR front glass, 10-36VDC for Film & Video use. There is a Virtual Horizon inside. All the best Jacques

All the best Jacques Thanks Jacques, Like I said I picked up two already, and there is no doubt your 4" would be an awesome monitor, but since I am only using it as a 2nd monitor on the rig for return video, there is really no need to have all the bells and whistles. But I appreciate the offer. I would love to try the new 6.5" though . . . . ;-)
