uh, other than the lame off-axis viewing (all-important to Steadicam), sure!

While they aren't great I have noticed some variance in them. Atleast one that I have used had usable off-axis viewing which was a pleasant surprise since we didn't have a down converter (don't get me started). Another one I looked at was much worse.

Hey Guys,

As you may or may not know us Live TV guys need a secondary monitor for return video. I fly a 3.5" just under my 7" and I am looking for two more and for some reason I am having a hard time finding them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an example of what I am looking for

For the record I found the one I was looking for under a different name and I ordered a back up one from Hong Kong that happens to be a rear view monitor for a car 3.5"

Thanks for all the inputs

Rob,

You are welcome if you want to try the Starlite Color.

It is a 4" 1000Nits monitor and we have already several operators using it as a second monitor.

The Starlite is built as all our products, aluminium machined housing, AR front glass, 10-36VDC for Film & Video use.

There is a Virtual Horizon inside.

All the best

Jacques

Thanks Jacques,

Like I said I picked up two already, and there is no doubt your 4" would be an awesome monitor, but since I am only using it as a 2nd monitor on the rig for return video, there is really no need to have all the bells and whistles. But I appreciate the offer.

I would love to try the new 6.5" though . . . . ;-)

Hello Rob,

I hope all is well with you. We do have quite a number of Operators using a 4" Starlite color monitor (0.75 lbs) as their program monitor . It can be ordered with the Virtual Horizon and in SuperBright model. In stock in our Los Angeles office and you will get local service.

Have a nice holiday season.
