So do you guys think with Pelican buying hardig that storm case prices are going to go up?

It's not that big. From what I have heard from Pelican, IF they keep the storm cases they will be the entry level case line

A saw this when I ordered my 1490 for my CamWav HD. I was just staring at the screen like when I was a kid and first saw my neighbors gigantic red tool chest for the first time... he had a tool for everything in there.

I remember always trying to bring something odd that needed to be fixed. He would look at it, think for a few seconds, reach in and bring out the perfect tool for the job on the first try. And that's the point I became a gadget guy. Not to mention shortly after my mom tore my ass up for taking apart the 8 track player... fun times!

1" for the shallow drawers and 2" for the Deep drawers

Eric, what about the top area... looking for a place to rest the HU3. Do you think they will make a deeper tray? I guess you can always leave out the tray above to make more room.

Thinking about using the deep top tray for the handunit Drawers are going to be for motors, rods, mounts, cables etc etc

I'll know more next week

It weighs 41.4 pounds with drawers. That doesn't leave much room to put anything in it and still have an airline take the damn thing!

Media rate overweight is 80-100lbs depending on the airline

I'm thinking along the lines of <70lbs... just another excuses to get a 1st/Business class ticket out of production.

I'm getting a look at this in Atlanta @ Barbizon tomorrow at 8:30am. The Pelican rep will be there with it and the draw options and all. If anyone wants to take a look at feel free, but call Sloan and let her know your coming.
