new possible recorder?

Hey guys,

 

don't know if you heard about this CF card HD/SD recorder from Fraunhofer Institut in Germany:

They will be at NAB too...

 

Any comments or any add. info?

Convergent Designs Flash XDR, Fast Forwards Elite HD does somewhat the same.

What they all lack is trick play functions.

 

If the microstorage will support normal jog/shuttle operations it will be a great product that is really usefull for onboard recording.
