Hey Nelson,

Most of your questions are answered on the website Peter linked to in his post. I don't know if it mentions the food though. As I recall from my workshop, a continental Breakfast was provided each day as well as a lunch. But don't quote me on that. Everything else is on the workshops website.

Yes, breakfast and lunch are provided. Brian is correct, the rest of the info is on the web site. However I am glad to offer it here as well.

We use the Flyer and Pilot Steadicam systems at this workshop, as we do at all 2 day Flyer/ Pilot Workshops.

The tuition is $ 500.00 USD and is paid when you register. There is no deposit period, the full tuition is paid when the registration is sent in.

Each student gets a certificate of completion and a Steadicam t-shirt.

Hope to see you there !

Best,

Peter

Look at that timing, I was about to chime in with the info!

Well there you have it. I see you're in Colombia, so if you're flying to North America anyway I see that there are also workshops coming up in Toronto, LA, and San Francisco for Flyer/Pilot, and of course Rockport and Atlanta for big rigs, but those last two cost a bit more, accordingly.

Watch out for that Abraham fellow while you're there, he's a shifty one.

That is in manhattan? New York do not know, I would like to locate a hotel near to the place.

If anyone knows a hotel near the site that I can recommend.

Does that make me a shifty switcher ? As you can see, the former students depart the workshop with a sense of reverence for the older more experienced Instructors, and a hypnotic myopic biopic intense focus on all things Steadicam.

Works for me !!! :)

Nelson, I will call Abel now to ask. However, a search of Google Maps plugging in that address will give you a HUGE range of hotels in lower Manhattan. Some should be within walking distance, ok? Try that, and while you are doing so, I'll talk to my guys over at Abel. See if they have one they recommend.

Best,

Peter

Nelson,

I got a room at the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village. It's on 66 Charlton Street, putting it about six blocks from the site of the class. I got the room for $144 plus taxes (which makes it about $168 a night).

You can call them at (212) 229-9988, or go to starwoodhotels.com.

Peter Abraham is the BEST Steadcam teacher in THE-WHOLE-WIDE-WORLD EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Peter,

I just got a call from a professional associate, like an hour ago. He was asking about the Steadicam as he's thinking of making a purchase. I went on about the value of the workshop like so many other have and do; and rightly so.

He was just sent the info about the upcoming classes in NYC. I hope he attends.

Be well! And, thanks for your sage knowledge!!!!!

Kip
