Kelli Lee
Hey guys! Just curious as to what type of nicknames you have gotten on set. Mine are Terminator, Robocop, Bazookagirl. Oh yeah, I've been asked by completely serious people "why are you wearing a bullet proof vest?" Noodlz

Joe Iuliano
Huck (...Huckleberry for formal situations) Less because of the rig...but rather because due to the dress code on set (pants, no shorts), I will occasionally roll up my pant legs to cool down and get some extra ventilation. Danny O'Neill
OK, firstly, I am a million miles away from you guys as our 'set' is a wedding. I didnt expect those types of names to come from the pros in the industry. I would have thought they all knew what a steadicam is. Now in my world, the world of weddings I expect those comments, especially as no one has ever seen a Steadicam at a wedding plus I wear a walkie with headset. My most frequent comment is that I look like Im from the special forces. We did a wedding a week ago where it was all police officers. My fav so far is a bride commenting how fascinated people were by my 'Transformer' get up.

Stephen Press
I coasted through most of my young life without any nickname other than "Pressy" then I was called a "Cameragod" by an enthusiastic reporter and the %$#@ing thing stuck like an albatross around my neck. Somehow it even followed me to the UK from New Zealand and 5 years later back again. I tried pretending it didn't bother me (which it did) by using it as an online persona... now ironically cameragod is better known in the world than me. My alter ego gets invites to speaking engagements and I don't. It doesn't annoy me as much as it used to, it's just when someone new finds out and tries to use it in every sentence. <_< Edited July 17, 2009 by Stephen Press
