Monitor wanted

I thought my steadi days were pretty much over, as lighting had taken presidence, untill this week when 2 days came in. I dusted off the master and turned up for shoot 1 which went ok. The next day was a full f900r kit shooting at 59.23 (PAL based master) and the master monitor wasn't having anything to do with it. The upshot was me gaffer taping and noga arming my panasonic 8.4 on the sled, which great for lighting, rubbish for steadi.

The master 4" just isn't up to the job anymore, it has interfernce and the monitor seems to stop pull when going past or through over exposed areas, so time for an upgrade.

I know there has been a lot of talk about monitors just recently but I'm looking for a good second hand or budget monitor which will suit my needs until I finally put the master to rest.

I'm open to suggestions transvideo, nebtek etc... But have no more than £1000 to spend.

Any help much appreciated...

J

You want HD/SDI and NTSC or Just one or the other.

I have a Marshal 7" HD/SDI that i may be inclined to let go, it's a back-up monitor for me.

Let me know
