Premium Members Charles Papert Posted July 13, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 After Ron cryptically referred to this event as "my thinning of the herd shindig", I took it upon myself to a do little research: Google Earth revealed a large pit dug in his back yard, which in subsequent weeks has been covered over with branches and leaves. I recommend all partygoers watch their step and use the buddy (buddycam?) system.
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted July 13, 2009 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 that was for the...uh...Luau -- yeah, that's it! My fellow ops, pay no attention to the Papert (he's with the afore mentioned "other guild") and come eat...drink...vomit! The password at the door is "greenscreen". Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted July 13, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 I think Charles may be onto something if Ron's recent Evite response is any indication. That pit (trap) in his backyard may be greased with lisagav so that no one can escape once they fall in. I suggest bringing a ladder rope or rope with a grappling hook, flash lights, extra batteries, food, first aid kit, tranquilizer gun and a net. I imagine Ron will be perched on the top of his house looking a little like Rambo or maybe Aaaanold (like in Predator) yelling "come on kill me, I'm here!" as we are all scrambling to climb out of his lisigav pit of despair but then, that won't be much help because at that point he'll most likely dump thousands of gallons of lisagav in the pit, drowning all of us. Hmm. I think I just got a call to work that night... lol
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted July 13, 2009 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 If I wanted to get rid of you guys...I'd have the party at Jumbos (where many incurable diseases thrive). Bring antibiotics just incase any of the toothless "dancers" show up with BJ and Brad!
Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted July 13, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 "If I wanted to get rid of you guys...I'd have the party at Jumbos" Ok.. in that case I'll come! (But make sure the sides of the pit are heavily lubed with lisagav so the toothless "dancers" can't climb out and bite one of us!)

Premium Members JimBartell Posted July 19, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 Many, many MANY, kudos to Mr. Baldwin for his superb job as host to a great party! Excellent food, beer and atmosphere. The last time I saw his back yard it was literally a pile of dirt. Now it looks like something you'd see in "Better Homes and Gardens". I'm thinking of having all my parties there! The 'gav was a little off, though.
