hey guys

yesterday my bfd w/m-one was chattering @ set up

had the thumb wheels all the way in towards the toggle

and the motor just kept chattering back and forth

like it was searching for a home position

any thoughts, i thought it might be because of location maybe lots of rf

I discussed a problem with "chattering" with Master Primes, and thought it was only when the motor was in contact with the lens, but a while back I experienced this off the lens, with one of the rollers at its extreme position, and the motor went off on one too..

If this is happening when the calibration knobs are all the way towards each other (at the stops) you may need a new calibration pot. They tend to wear out in exactly this fashion. They way to tell is to move the knobs slightly away from the end and see if the problem stops.
