Richard James Lewis
I discussed a problem with "chattering" with Master Primes, and thought it was only when the motor was in contact with the lens, but a while back I experienced this off the lens, with one of the rollers at its extreme position, and the motor went off on one too.. Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted July 27, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 I have had similar (although not identical) symptoms when my BFD couldn't get enough power. In that instance the status light on the receiver was changing colors instead of staying solid green. ~Jess
Premium Members JimBartell Posted July 27, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 If this is happening when the calibration knobs are all the way towards each other (at the stops) you may need a new calibration pot. They tend to wear out in exactly this fashion. They way to tell is to move the knobs slightly away from the end and see if the problem stops.
