Premium Members Mark Schlicher Posted August 24, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 24, 2009 Buy the Steadicam EFP training DVD from TIffen. The switch (and many other useful topics) are covered well. $20 well-spent, especially if you can't make it to a workshop. hi there i am a new operator and i want to know is there a archive forum that covers the basics of operating as im sure its all been covered before. Christian Dietrich
The EFP-training DVD is funny and nice, also Jerrys book "steadicam operators handbook" is a good start. All basics(position,switch,...) with many pictures. But i think a workshop/or some instruction-training with an operator, is the best way to start into steadicamworld. Greetings, chris
