Premium Members Benjamin Treplin Posted September 18, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 18, 2009 AFAIK Kenyon has a dedicated 14.4 Volt inverter and the 12V one doesn't like higher voltage. I learned this from a fellow operator who had just that issue and bought the proper inverter from Ken-Lab. Best
Site Sponsor Christian Betz Posted September 23, 2009 Site Sponsor Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 Hi can i power the ks4 gyro (ki-12-d inverter)with 14.8v battery? Dear Georgios we pushed kenlab beginning of that year to make a redesign of the inverter. Some operators blew the inverter cause of the the overvoltage of Liion Batteries when they are fully charged. The redesign works very well but if you are useing normal 12 Volt batteries the gyro runs slower. Ask us for an upgrade of your old inverter regards Christian Betz Betz-tools.com
George Grammatikos
Thanks Christian and Benjamin ,as i must find a solution for that until yesterday, i upgrade the inverter,i just add a 7812s regulator in the voltage input ,the kit work good the 7812s is warm but not extreme hot (2 ks4 working)
