Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted October 13, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 Does anyone know if the lens has teeth on the focus ring that will match up with my follow focus motor? I have all the different gears for my motor. Also I may need to scrounge up a rod bracket for it today. Anyone know someplace in LA that rents it? The further west the better. I know this camera has a composite output so won't need a downconverter. ~Jess

Here check this picture, you'll see it: http://pro.jvc.com/pro/pr/2008/nab/photos/...200_mounted.jpg As for the bracket, what do you need exactly? Premium Members Ken Nguyen Posted October 14, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 Hi Jess, What FF do you have? For Preston, you need a 0.50M gear for Canon video lens, and/or a 0.60M for Fujinon lens. These gears you can buy from Jerry Hill (Steadimove). Double check the camera plate of this one. It might be slightly wiggled at the tail end. Be safe, bring along a small wedge. Fun flying, Ken.
Premium Members Sydney Seeber Posted October 14, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 I'd bet that it's the standard fuji gear. That camera is the best balanced of all the smaller format cameras
Premium Members Sven Joukes Posted October 14, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 Hi Jess- Don't know if it's exactly the same camera, but this is a setup I used some time ago. That is a 0.6 gear for focus. The 15mm bars adapter is from Cavision (nr R15PU). Hope this helps. Best, Sven
