Preston zoom control

I´m in the process of buying a Preston system, and just got a message from the that they no longer make the gimbal mounted

microforce controller.

I suppose it's because it was part of their analogue package, but as i will be doing a lot of jobs the next year with both my own

Century compact zooms and the new Optimos, i would like to hear if anybody has figured out a solution ?

Thanks

Edvard

Hey Edvard,

I have a gimbal mounted Preston Zoom for sale if you're interested. $2,000.00

I've only used it a couple of times. Has all the cables and gimbal brackets, and a case. I can email you pictures if you like. Cheers

Do you have pics of this and is it compatible to the MDR2?

The preston was the only perfect zoom control ever exist. As they are not manufactured anymore we decide to design a similar one for use with existing digital motors like preston, heden, btm, scorpio. The joystick mount for the gimbal handle will be a little bit more comfortable. The unit should be ready for shipping mid of January. Please send your mail that we can keep you informed.

Ouch! I guess I've been told. What the hell was I thinking?

Hey amercian dream of a remote inventor we are talking digital!

Hi Christian,

What do you really meant?

You think "digital" is a top high-tech thing that will change the world of follow focus!

If you are that good - "talking digital"- why don't you invent yourself one rather than replicate an absolute discontinued product of someone else?

Ken.
