Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted December 10, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 I need to find either a large quad with a 2" receiver mount on the back or an already built up camera quad/ATV in the LA area for some off-road camera and Steadi work where my Hummer is too big for the trails. Isn't there a company in the LA area with smaller off-road type vehicles already built up? Thanks!

He has a 6 wheel ATV that is a GREAT platform and an absolute blast to use. Plus Jack is a GREAT driver
Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted December 10, 2009 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 Thanks Eric, the six wheeler looks perfect and the prices are reasonable enough for production I'd think. I've left Jack a message. Robert

But for off road I'd never consider it. It's too narrow. Jacks ATV is the perfect solution for off road work
Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted December 11, 2009 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 Thanks Rob! From reading the script I don't think we'll be on anything close to flat ground "cherubs and gremlins running through the forest". I'll go low mode and put a plow head on the back of the camera so we can at least cultivate the ground for the pot growers! See ya! Premium Members Ken Nguyen Posted December 11, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 Robert, Transform your Hummer into the one from the photo. It will take you every where! Have fun "plowing" Ken.

Premium Members Brad Grimmett Posted April 22, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 Hiya, GripTrix has an electric ATV for offroad that rocks.... I just used it a couple weeks ago and it was great. But I can see where the six wheeler might be a little more stable.
