I need to find either a large quad with a 2" receiver mount on the back or an already built up camera quad/ATV in the LA area for some off-road camera and Steadi work where my Hummer is too big for the trails. Isn't there a company in the LA area with smaller off-road type vehicles already built up?

Thanks!

Jack Carpenter, Carpenter Camera Cars. He has a 6 wheel ATV that is a GREAT platform and an absolute blast to use. Plus Jack is a GREAT driver

Hey Roberto,

GripTrix

www.griptrix.com

If the other one Eric referred doesn't work out I used these guys and it was awesome and silent, copletely set up for steadicam and with a great seat mountable anywhere with foot holds

Good luck

Let us know how it goes

Griptrix is a great unit, on pavement. But for off road I'd never consider it. It's too narrow. Jacks ATV is the perfect solution for off road work

Thanks Rob!

From reading the script I don't think we'll be on anything close to flat ground "cherubs and gremlins running through the forest". I'll go low mode and put a plow head on the back of the camera so we can at least cultivate the ground for the pot growers!

See ya!

Robert
