Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted December 14, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 Looks like a great size / form factor. Probably not going to be a player in our world due to lack of features and that lovely ARRI pride / pricing. Wonder who is making it for them? We all use NITs for a measure of monitor brightness... what is 550 cd/m2 ?
Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted December 14, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 Robert, I don't think that this monitor is made for us. ARRI introduced an HD video tap a short while back, so they have to provide an HD capable onboard monitor as a camera accessory... BTW: Standard unit of luminance is candela per square meter (cd/m2), also called Nits in the USA, from latin "nitere" = "to shine".
