Premium Members Erik Brul Posted December 17, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 17, 2009 Hey all, Was cruising vimeo and found following video: http://www.vimeo.com/8053132 In this clip they use a alternative rickshaw but in this case, he is standing in it. It seems to me that standing is not the way to go and looks dangerous.. Best, Erik
Premium Members Bryan Fowler Posted December 17, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 17, 2009 Looks interesting. It would make a step off quite easy.. if you came up to steps at high speed. but yeah, for some reason it looks more dangerous than sitting. I'll stick to my rickshaw or Handsfree Transporter. But it's cool to see.
Premium Members Ari Gertler Posted December 17, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 17, 2009 I would want the option to be able to hard mount the arm, if a step off was not planned..
Premium Members Mike McGowan SOC Posted December 17, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 17, 2009 looks cool but you are quite literally putting your life in the hands of the grip. if he slips, or stops short or looses his grip your toast! Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted December 18, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 18, 2009 I would be a little more comfortable with something like the cinerover where you get two more wheels and a little more support: http://cinerover.com/ I did notice that it has a seatbelt but im not sure I would want to be strapped in if the grip tripped or lost his grip.... ~Jess
