bobgilles
This is a perfect opportunity to update this rig, the fastest and easiest way to fix this is to order a new two battery lower stage from MK-V. I don't work for them, but if I was working in Bombay, I would want to upgrade to a modular rig that is much easier to service and is more reliable. Bret Allen
I don't know if this helps. If you can locate on old model 1 or 2 for parts, I believe it used the exact same electronics. I saw one on Ebay once for cheap. Believe it or not, I still own an old model 1 and still use it (17 Years now) I love the dynamic balance. Premium Members Norbert von der Heidt Posted November 26, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 (edited) Hi Folks I just bought this sled from Howard at MK-V. Unfortunately he wasn't able to supply any info as to what it is or where it came from etc. Here's a pic of the sled and any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Norbert Edited November 26, 2005 by electricimages

Hi Rick Yeah, this seems to have everyone stumped. Not that it matters as long as it flys allright. I've been waiting much too long for my Progear SSV1 vest to arrive so I can't even check it out. Jan is not even answering my emails and I'm getting a little concerned since I can't take on any work till I have a fully functioning rig again. Thanks for your input though. Cheers Norbert
Premium Members RobVanGelder Posted November 29, 2005 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 First I thought it could be a rig from FX-Motion but their rig looks more..... professional. B) Or it could be an old model from them but I think it is something that someone put together from various parts and suppliers. And about that vest, don´t wait for that, chances are low that you will get it.
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted November 29, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 I'm pretty sure that one was the one I read about that used CP batteries. Don't know if that gives any help, but maybe it does. Also, assuming I remember correctly, it said it was put together from pieces.

Premium Members Charles Papert Posted November 30, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 30, 2005 Thanks Job, very nice of you to say. I'd LIKE to think the reason the shirts are/were popular were the logo--spent a lot of time trying to come up with a fun, brand-agnostic logo & it was fun handing the shirts out for a few years. Down to my last box at this point and I don't think I'll make more, so I guess this makes them collector's items! p.s. speaking of old school rigs, coupla shots on my reel date back far enough to have been done on a Model 3--can't say as I miss that rig too much! Premium Members Wing Gee Posted June 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 23, 2006 Anybody have a manual for a 3A sled online? I just got my first rig together and got a 3a sled with a bunch of Derose mods on it, and a gold spring arm. I'm trying to figure what some switches do, since some of the markings are rubbed off from old age. Thanks Wing
