Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted December 29, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 29, 2009 Heads up to other Steadicam ops and production peeps out there on a project called RED Canvass that came through Las Vegas last week and left behind a string of bad checks with local crew here. Not one bad check but many bad checks to the locals. Luckily for once I was not on this job but apparently they came in, did 16-17 hour days, racked up lots of OT and then the checks that were cut last Weds still won't clear the bank. I only know of one AC that got his check through. Also, they left an injured crew member here with no Workmans Comp and he'll be out for three months. I'm particularly surprised because the DP was Conrad Hall, Jr and while he's not Production you'd think he'd take care of the local camera crew. If anyone knows him they should give him the heads up.
