Premium Members Imran Naqvi Posted September 26, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 26, 2004 Hi, Is anyone else having problems reaching www.steadicam.com or www.tiffen.com? I'm in the UK so I'm not sure if it's an ISP thing (though I've tried two different providers) or an issue at the companies end.

Premium Members DavidWest Posted September 26, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 26, 2004 the tiffen /and steadicam site have been down for almost a week now..... somewhere i found a new site that mentioned that they were physically moving locations (not web locations like steadycam.us ) but to a different building.... so hopefully they will be back up soon.... (i also heard a few years back that tiffen was going out of business, then the started selling steadicam,,,, hmmmm has it finally happened???) Premium Members Brad Grimmett Posted September 27, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 They very recently re-located to Glendale. I doubt the website being down has anything to do with their move.

Your beginning to scare me !!!! Ultra that does not work with Alien then Tiffen bite the dust, pass me the revolver joe Calm yourself, grasshopper! Tiffen-Steadicam has just moved to larger, nicer, more centrally located facilities in Glendale right (and I mean right) on the border of Burbank. They have combined the Steadicam manufacturing facility with the sales office that used to be in the office building on Hollywood way into one facility. I'm jealous. It's much nicer than that rat hole we used to be in on La Cienega. Jim "former rat hole inhabitant" Bartell

Not only are we alive but growing by now offering 9 different STEADICAM systems from which to choose. The Vector (Film and Video), Clipper (Video) and the FLYER have been receiving Rave reviews. All units are shipping and we have service and parts support. (Note-This is not a commercial but someone did mention equipment availability.) Our plan is to have an Open House in December for all to see our new home. Thanks for all the kind comments from those of you who have already come by to say hello. We look forward to seeing everyone at some point in the future. Frank Rush Steadicam +1.205.229.5572 frush@tiffen.com

Tiffen is only (in my estimation) 1 block into Glendale from Burbank.
