Jason Link
Hello Forum Constituents, I am looking to invest in a Steadicam Pilot but I have one question that I can't seem to get an answer for. I am planning on testing the rig with a Nikon D5000. Is this camera compatible the LCD on sled? Please, if anyone can explain this to me. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Premium Members Sydney Seeber Posted January 21, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 It's got NTSC output, but that's probably the last camera I'd put on a stabilizer

Premium Members Sydney Seeber Posted January 22, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 22, 2010 Difficult to control in video mode, terrible video codec, it only shoots 720p, very noticeable rolling shutter compared to other cameras in a similar category. Nikon is probably going to release a much higher quality video DSLR pretty soon, I'd save my $ and wait to see what it can do if you really wanna go with Nikon
