I'm starting of with this wonderful career as steadicam operator and was wondering if some of the established operators in my area could maybe assist me on how to get going. I have some questions about things like insurance, how much to charge for operating and if someone has some things like videoassist equipment for sale I would be happy to make an offer. I would also like to meet as many future collegues as possible. A good way to do that would maybe be the crew call crew united has on february 18th if someone other than me attends this event. I'm getting the Ultra 2 since in my line of work I want to be prepared for all sorts of cameras from No- to Big Budget Productions. I'm in the USA again at the end of march but it's just for a couple days in Miami before I leave for the Bahamas :lol: So no time to drop by and have a beer.
