U2c

Hello,

I have a dumb question.

I recently got the U2c. And trying on the low-mode handle, the safety pin doesn't go all the way through both holes.

It goes into the first hole, then stops, this due to a mismatch between the hole on the low-mode handle and the hole ont the handle on the yoke. Is this normal? I doubt it, but has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi Lars Erik,

It this a ´new´ low-mode handle or a already used one ?

When i bought the Flyer LE i also ordered the lowmode kit again. The stupid thing was, i had

the same problem you are describing now.. but this was because the part of the low-mode handle was 180 degrees backwards.

This means, if you try to put in the pin from the other side, it will fit. But now, the handle is placed between the gimbal and post. (now that i´m typing this, i´m pissed i forgot to make a photo of it... )

I corrected it by carefully unscrew the post part in the clamb, turned it 180 degrees and tightenend it again..

Oh well, this is just 1 ´failure´ of the xx failures i had pffff

Maybe i can photoshop the error...

Hi Lars Erik!

When I did the eastern classic workshop in December we had the same problem and I think Peter Abraham and Dan Ikeda two of the instrucors fixed it by drilling another hole in the lowmode handle. The handle we had was drilled the wrong way. I guess tiffen send out some handles that way by mistake. Maybe you should call and check that.
