I'm one of the old farts who have little to no experience with lcd monitors...so I really don't get the point of this thread. Do lcd's not work in the cold and this one does? I think the pictures of it would be more meaningful if there was some other monitor next to it that we are all familiar with to compare it to (as far as the brightness).

They work, but gets blurry and strobe. At -20 c I find them useless.

ahhh, I see. I guess I won't have to worry about that issue as I get blurry and useless way before -20c

hahahaha. Ron, when shooting below 18c you should always switch to the thinner 5w-20 Lisgav.
