The monitor has come along well. We currently have several operators using the monitor on a daily basis, with great results. We are ramping up production, so they will be readily available. The monitor with be on one of the steadicam rigs at NAB.

Why so secretive? Post up some pics and the ops that are using them so we can inundate them with questions.

All in good time. Just trying to make sure everything is in place. We will have info up on the website this weekend, and the operators will step forward shortly. We will also be building up another demo unit for those who want to give it a try for a few days.

Personally I think Chris has the right idea, slow and steady and actually deliver what he's promising.... Unlike others in the past that just tired to repackage/resell something that is totally unsuitable for our needs.

And for those of us who don't live in LA, NAB would be a nice opportunity to see it...even if it's still in prototype form. I have only Monday at NAB, I'd love to see it if you'd like to PM me as to where it might be hidden. Your secret will be safe.

I do appreciate your development trials and taking the time to perfect it.

Hey Kidz!

You can find me AND the new monitor on my XCS Ultimate working in the Angenieux booth at NAB Mon-Weds showing off Angenieux's new compact zoom. I don't know the booth number so check the program.

I'm there to show off the new lens for the people who are paying me, not for detailed monitor demos. But, please feel free to stop by and say hi. I'll show you the new lens and you can take a peak at the new monitor as well.

The monitor is a working prototype so don't come blowing in and judging the housing, controls and yoke as a finished piece of work. Nor do I know anything about future plans but I'm sure Chris will have all that info.

It just arrived today but I saw it a few months ago on-set and it was impressive then. The brightness and viewing angles of the panel will speak for themselves.

Glad they're building another demo as they may not get this one back! B)

I predict Ron will sell his last tube of Lisigav to buy this monitor!

As for inundating me with questions...save them till I've tortured it a few days. As of this moment I don't know anything about specs, final pricing, delivery etc.. All I know is I like what I've seen and I'm looking forward to the next dance!

Robert

Not on the show floor it won't. Maybe on your lunch break you can take it outside to that central court with the sat trucks (and blazing sun)...? That's where Gaylen made several of us into believers with his display a couple of years ago.

Hey Guys,

Well I'm one of the beta testers. I have been using it for a month now and it rock so, if anyone wants a TB6 or Nebtek SolarHD I'm selling........

This is the best LCD I've used, bright, very sharp and unparalleled viewing angle.

Have a look at it at NAB or get on the list for a demo - it will sell itself.

Any questions give me a call.

Okay folks time for me to come clean.

I used to use a TB-6 and said I would NEVER use a LCD....

yes I said it. I USED to use a TB-6, let's see, the last time I used a green screen was a month ago then the Cinetronic monitor found it's way onto my rig. (Thank you Simon)

I LOVE this monitor. Sharp, BRIGHT and a viewing angle that is so good and broad as to no longer be a consideration. So good that it's the First LCD that can be used tabled web.jpg?ver=13023388820001 (The mounting bracket is a temp item and not the shipping version)

weight and mass distribution make this monitor a drop in for a TB-6. Literally I can take the TB-6 off my sled that I just dynamically balanced (Who am I kidding I DB'd it four years ago when I bought the rig http://gallery.me.com/ericfletcher#100462/IMG_2037&bgcolor=black) and then install the Cinetronic and it spins flat. Video is input either thru the Pro Standard 8 pin lemo or the SDI input

The image btw is outstanding even Standard Def (Which happens to be uprezzed!) no longer does SD look like crap, it's sharp and crisp just like the HD-SDI image. Power consumption is low even on full bright which you really don't even have to use in direct sun!

I could go on and on, but seeing it, sells it's self.

If you're at NAB you owe it to check it out on Roberts Rig, but I'll warn you, you WILL be writing a check to Cinetronic after you see it

Have fun guys, I wish I could be there. Chris congrats you knocked this one out of the park and I'm happy to say that i'm using your LCD Monitor
