I just want to throw out a huge thank you to Robert Starling. I had a night shoot in Vegas this past Thursday and a few hours before call I noticed that I had misplaced my 19mm-15mm insert for my m-one motor. I left Robert a voice message and he called me back within five minutes. Twenty minutes later I was in his house with the proper inserts to make it work and having a nice conversation on his living room sofa. I know that it was a small item but the fact that he gave up a few hours of his afternoon to help a fellow operator is huge. That is one of the best parts of this forum is to meet and talk with operators from all over the world, so no matter where I go I feel a little better knowing I could give someone a call if I'm in a jam. If anyone has any issues or questions in Vegas or LA for that matter, give Robert a call. Thanks a lot Robert. I hope to see you again soon, under better circumstances.

Not that certain unnamed people on the forum (BJ, Ron, Rob) would seize upon it but just to be clear there was no Lisigav involved during our conversation on the sofa! :o

We talked briefly about shooting. I must say that it peaked my curiousity. Maybe next time. I must say that shooting with Robert might be better than shooting with the D21 with the OB one recorder that I flew that night.
