Tiffen is suppose to have this on one of the rigs at NAB, I'll check it out then if so and give you the report. I will say I was not impressed with their regular 3D rig when I shot with it about a year back... hopefully this one is much better.

A bit of humor is all the configs shown with no cabling and you simply can not do 3D with the Canon DLSR's... no way to gen-lock, which is a must.

I'm sure there was something on youtube or vimeo after BVE in the UK this year.

Can't search as on my phone without internet for the weekend, will post a link if I find it - obviously give 3D steadicam in both of the above a shot and I'm sure something will pop up. Remember it being 5+mins long and full of info.

Cheers

Hey,

there has been a test shoot here in germany with the p+s freestyle rig for the local soccer (football ?) broadcast.

http://www.film-tv-video.de/newsdetail.html?&no_cache=1&uid=38461&L=

For the link beeing only in german, summing up: Topvision (local technical support for the soccer league broadcast) shot one first division match (additionally) in 3D. The Steadicam rig flies with two Sony EX 3.

The selected test audience was very pleased with the result.

Looking at the steadicam pictures, I recognized a frequent player for soccer games here in Germany. I think his name is Roland Kaatz. I dont't know if he is present in this forum, but he may have some insider infos...

Best regards,

Fabian.

Not sure how heavy that contraption is, but I did notice upon enlarging the photo that there was an ad for Bayer Aspirin on the far placard directly under the steadicam arm. Might come in handy after an entire match carrying that thing around.
