"Classic" Steadi-Something Rig Demo

Enjoy, I just wanted to post this here because I can't wait to read everyone's comments.

My favorite moments:

-The rig (I thought the weights were a drink holder at first)

-The shameless "look at all I can do" demo (perhaps that's his warm-up routine)

-The balancing of the sled on the ground after each shot to review the take.

-And, of course, at 8:30 or so when the headphones get stuck in that high-tech arm.

I was so impressed I just had to post this to Facebook so I could share. My wife looked at it and asked "So what am I waiting for, is there something wrong???" Maybe it's just me who can't appreciate the artistry at work here!:blink:

Cheers

Norbert

Hi all;

I watched the video and I was kind of amused by it but agree with Norbert's wife; what's wrong?

This spin thing the guy does is very impressive and scared me to death thinking something was going to come flying loose but it didn't.

I could see a handful of things I wouldn't recommend but he was making his client happy and the check was going to clear the bank. He was working hard and getting the job done. (I've seen way less competent guys out there doing way dumber stuff than this. Hell I've done way stupider things to figure out where I should stand to get the shot but I was trying really hard too.)

He's in a world with very few resources and doing the job.

Nice post, fun to watch and see if there is going to be a train wreck.

Just my .02 cents.

And after hours of being a human tripod who wouldn't want their very own human docking stand? Its always right there when you need it (unless it has to be pee or wanders over to crafty.....)

Thanks Jess, You had me laughing so hard you've made my day... and that's highly appreciated on these uncertain times!
