Premium Members JohanPhillips Posted May 27, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 Hi, I just want to get some ideá what type charger setup operators are using, for charging 10 Dionic hc. The four position Quad or the two position simultaneous charger? The smaller two position simultaneous charger (2722) is perfect for keeping it small and compact when traveling. But has it got to few positions? What are you guys using? kind regards johan

I have a two position T2 and the four position TM4 (big, but will charge all four simultaneously in about 2.5 hrs) incase things get crazy. Though most shows I have been on lately have tons of chargers in the truck and their own hc's to abuse but it still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside having the TM4 tucked away in a bag. Premium Members Mike McGowan SOC Posted May 27, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 I use 2 x 2722's so I can charge four at the same time. I also use Hytron 140's for my front battery and those last pretty much all day. I just got a few HC's and they work really nice. Other than that, I have 9 x Hytron 50's. Also, the way things are these days, I'm using HD cameras more and more often. In those situations, I almost always have the AC bring their own batteries and chargers as well and power off the camera (instead of my rig) whenever possible (one less thing for me to think about). Moderators Alec Jarnagin SOC Posted May 27, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 "I use 2 x 2722's so I can charge four at the same time. " Same, except that one of the two is the slightly cheaper model with out the LCD display but otherwise identical. Then at home, I also keep an older sequential dual charger and a quad sequential charger. Both will charge Dionics so I can keep all nine batteries on a charger between jobs which Anton Bauer recommends.
