T handles

As anyone who knows me knows, Im not an equipment guy. Thus, after 18 years operating, the time has come for new T handled allen wrenches. I know that this seems odd, but where's the best place to get single t's? And are there better companies to go with manufacture wise? And is it 5/32 or 9/32 (the handle is surprisingly rubbed off).

I searched all over for the ALLEN brand with the red handles but the Bondhus group seems to own the market.

 

5/32 is probably what you're looking for with PRO / XCS gear

 

Try McFadden Dale hardware; they have an LA area store and their prices are nearly half that of FilmTools.

I took mine to a machine shop and they cut the worn ends of, saving the expense of new set. Just a thought.

I found the original style tools sold with the early sleds, the Vaco brand, has been bought by Klein Tools which is a great brand of solid tools.

 

Best source is MyToolStore.com. They let you buy individual pieces or the set, each in two lengths. Check out their listings for the ball driver sets as well. Best selection I have found anywhere!

 

Remember, he who finishes the race with the most tools, wins! Just don't tell your wife about them!
