I'm about to upgrade from a Flyer to a larger rig. I'm looking for constructive reviews on both rigs and the pro's and cons from users. Can you point me to any previous threads or fill me in please. Thanks guys.

Hi Jon,

Here is a very basic overview of all the advantages I got when I moved from a flyer to the Clipper 2.

-More payload capacity (self explanatory)

-G-50 arm "ride' function (This allows the arm to be flown at different heights in the sweet spot without having the operator try to keep it up or down by force).

-Tilt stage (ability to tilt the camera without having to tilt the sled so it's easier to keep in dynamic balance)

-More posts (expanding stages allow you to balance your rig easier as well as adjust your operating height).

-More power ports for more accessories.

-Larger mass means more stable platform.

-Better adjustable vest that will fit you better (no more Velcro)

-Lot more room for personalizing (modifying) the rig.

These are some basics, hope this helps.

Hi Jon,

Since I'm a user but also connected with MK-V, I won't comment. But if you would like to discuss this with some of our V2 Genesis users you could try contacting them via our MK-V Facebook page.

Check out the V2 Genesis photos page where Saade is using Billy Green's V2 Genesis showing just how versatile and strong the V2 Genesis Sled is..

If you have any further questions after speaking with some users don't hesitate to contact either Howard or myself.

Regards,
